Finding food for a toddler can sometimes be a struggle. Who am I kidding. Most of the time it’s a struggle with my little one. She is constantly changing what she likes and what she doesn’t like. I must say that I am very proud that one of her favorite foods is veggies. Especially cooked zucchini & carrots. But my new fall trail mix is a hit with her and the whole family!
Just recently, I bought her a new sippy cup. The straw makes her feel more “fancy” so she loves drinking out of it. She has always loved drinking water but now she especially enjoys to drink water out of her new cup. In between meals she used to be a big snacker. Because of her drinking so much water, she snacks a lot less than before. That makes a happy Momma. =] Her two snacks of choice are Gardetto’s & trail mix. Don’t get me wrong, she loves her bananas, grapes, & cheez-its. But for some reason I can never go wrong with giving her the other 2 snacks.
I have bought a couple different types of trail mix over the past few months. This time around I decided to make my own. It is on the sweeter side and more of late night sweet treat. The fun thing about trail mix is that you can completely customize it. I have also listed some other ingredients you may want to try. Hope you enjoy!
